Yesterday as I was walking Max into school, about to embark on his field trip (another post), I caught sight of something that made my heart sing. SING.
A mom walking her child to the school door in her jammies. Yes, jammies. And bedhead. Pajama pants, baggy sleeping man-shirt, no makeup, and hair that was respectable but by no means brushed or styled. She walked him right up to the school door, kissed him, then proceeded to walk down the block to her house. Not into her car, waiting at the curb, but down the entire block!
Whomever you are, dear woman, I love you.
(can we be friends?)

Awesome! We need to do this sort of thing more often because it gives everyone else permission to do the same. I ran to school to pick up Landon midday last week because he felt sick (though it only lasted 3 hours) and was halfway there before I thought to check to see if I was still wearing my half slip (I wear that around the house when I'm having temperature issues) and a t-shirt with no bra...I had no make-up on, but was showered.
I am going to work like that.
But m/b not b/c the judge is hot.
I want to give this woman a hug...this is so me. SO ME! Hopefully my girls won't be too embarrassed!
I love that you took a pic and shared this moment with us :)
I think it was me! Hee Hee! Yah, you should see what I wear to drop my kids off, and sometimes even have to go in to school aplogizing the whole time to the boys teacher, hoping she doesn't notice me not wearing a bra, good thing with me you can't really tell. One good thing about being small I guess.

That woman has GUTS!!
I love her too...
I frequently drive carpool in my pj's but that's totally different-
I am almost never dressed up- I just can't pull it off. Jeans & sweatshirts are my best friends- but now summer is upon us- damn- I have to find some cute t-shirts & cute t-shirt are not cute in xlarge.
