Phantom Exhaust Fumes at 12:31am

1. I have to get up at 5am tomorrow and I cannot fall asleep.
2. It's 12:31am.
3. I drove home today from Idaho.
4. No, I did not guzzle a 5-hr energy.
5. I am smelling exhaust fumes every time I inhale, even though I am in my bed and I know very well there is no exhaust pipe in here. Blech.
6. I am dreading the treadmill tomorrow because I am out. of. shape.
7. I've been mulling over my Word of the Year for 2010 and all the self-reflection is making me a little sick at heart. I feel like such a shambles of a person.
8. Things always look better in the morning.
9. I miss my mom.

Bet you guzzled a diet coke or two though, right?

Sorry about the insomnia. NO FUN.

Oh dear. Surely you're not a shambles of a person!

Those sounds like the musings of one who is exhausted from travel and who has to get back to real life. I always miss my mom most just after we have separated. I hope things look better this morning!

Facing a 5:00am wake-up call is enough to give me the blues and keep me from being able to sleep as well, not good. Smelling exhaust fumes in your bedroom sounds grim, I hope that sensation left you.

My word for 2010 is "EMBRACE." It fits my needs. I love your posts- they are priceless. I think we need a girls night out!

new years has a way of making me feel this way too...

I think my goal this year should just be to not get any bigger- my body & mind are both shot.

spring is coming- it will all be better- right?
are you from Idaho?

hang in there-
I THINK YOU ROCK! :)

That all sounds very annoying. Especially the self-reflection part. My husband is always so gung-ho about resolutions and they just make me feel awful.

Sorry about the fumes. Hear ya on the treadmill... yech... But my real impetus for commenting is...
How STINKING cute are those PEEPS?????? My favorite blog pic ever. (And I notice there is even an "evil" dog amongst those peeps!)

I knew a girl who used to buy and sell that vintage Fisher Price stuff on eBay, and it used to go like hot cakes. Anyway...

Just stick to number 8. It must mean something, because I have a HUUUGE number 8 appliqued onto my pyjama top. I kid you NOT. I've never known why - it just came like that from the shop. But it must have been destined to marry up with your woeful post! Hooray!

I miss my Mom too - sniff.
I have a little link on my blog with a gazillion word ideas if you need it. And..........I didn't do a word last year - so maybe you need to mull over it a little longer - like a whole year? And you are awesome! Don't forget it♥

Oh Crystal! Your comment just made me smile :) Yes, please show up in class...I would love to finally meet you! You will be able to fall asleep in no time after class and then you don't have to deal with the treadmill...

So what is your word of the year? I am dying to find out!

You need to CALL me when you feel like this. Chances are, I'm still up and feeling the same way.

I've thought a lot about the whole 'word of the year' idea and I can't come up with ANYTHING. I am lame. Maybe my word should be 'lame'.
