This is How I Roll

I am in the Washington, D.C. area with my family to attend my sister's JAG graduation.

Severe storm warnings from the National Weather Service. Blizzard conditions in the city. 35" of snow in D.C., 18" where we are staying. The National Guard was called to the city where we are staying.

Only me.

(Stay tuned--the adventure continues tomorrow!)

Wow, that is seriously crazy. I wouldn't mind it as a resident with a home to hibernate in, but as a visitor I think this would panic me a bit!

That's so awesome! Congrats for your sister, and I love the fact that you have stepped out into the blizzard to scrape your windows.

Wow, of all the places in all the world - you picked the right time and place for a crazy snow storm Crystal! Heaven sakes! I love DC thought, it must be beautiful. I lived their for five years and loved every minute of it! I hope the snow clears enough for you to eat at the original five guys in Alexandria! Good stuff! Take care and safe traveling my friend!

Oh my! That is a seriously huge amount of snow. I'm with Jill -- it would be fun to live there and be homebound and have everything canceled, but as a tourist that must throw a major wrench in your plans. Hope you are still having fun!

You DO have a tendency to inspire extra drama wherever you go! That's why we love you so much!
So how was the graduation??
