Unstoppable Me.

Oh Really.

I receive a weekly automatic update via email which shows me what the Lima Bean looks like. Here is the depiction of Week 16.

Yeah. Right. MY bum doesn't quite look like Cartoon-Mom's bum. And her tummy isn't protruding at all! Mine already has a shelf! Maybe for my next Wordless Wednesday, I will post a comparison photo....of myself.

Or maybe not.

We have to remember that this is 20 year old cartoon Mom's first child and she is still breaking new ground - I have a bigger pouch than that 3 years after having a baby (maybe forever at this rate.)

Funny before I even read your post I thought, "wow, I don't think I've ever seen a pregnant lady without at least a little cellulite on the thighs."

You got it right though, CARTOON woman!!

You should post a pic of your belly, with clothes on.

I got those updates when I was pregnant with Evie and I thought the same things every week. Once Isaac mentioned to me that I was a little bigger than that picture. I think I quit letting him see them after that.

I think even the cartoon got airbrushed for those pictures though...

Well, the point of the picture is to show the size of the baby -- not the size of the mom, right? :)

Go easy on yourself. Post the pic! Look how much positive feedback you'll get!

The cartoon mom looks like a teenage pregnancy body type so I think your side by side comparison would be more realistic and amusing.

I'm sporting a shelf and I'm not even pregnant!

Yahoo! I am so excited for you! I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl..... hmmmm I'm going to go with BOY!

maybe the baby photos would be more useful and give us a more realistic insight if we weren't looking at a pregnant 12 year old. do a comparison drawing!

Oh what a cute Lima bean! How exciting! I am sure you look dang cute. I think if it was my naked bum on that picture, it would a great birth control for teens! It would say "this is what happens to your buttocks when you get have babies"!!

That cartoon butt makes me feel like I need to go do some squats.

When I was pregnant I gained so much weight. The doctor told me to cut out snacks and said if I was dying for something to eat celery. What he didn't know was, I wasn't snacking. :(

CELERY???!!! When a girl is dying for something, it certainly is NOT celery. I know I always go for carrots.

(carrots = cheesecake)

Seriously. I'm DO NOT understand why, at week 8 when I've gained 1 lb and the baby is the size of a peanut, my BUTT is no longer fitting into my jeans. Cartoon Mom's butt is a big fat mean lie. And you are so so cute by the way in that picture with your mom.

Email me, because I need to ask you something...jessicaromney@hotmail.com...when you get a chance.

Piff paff! Abandon all that technical wizzardry and stick to the old toilet paper measuring method. You're supposed to wrap a length of toilet paper around your tum and count the pieces each week/month. Or 'bog roll' as we call it. So you should start a 'Bog Roll Count' label ;-P

I never did it, as I was too busy smothering my tum in anti-stretch mark oils. *rolls eyes*

Congrats! I must have missed the fact that you are PG. Wow.

I don't know what to tell you about going from 3 kids to 4. I went from 2 to 4 (ages 5 and under) and it really just about killed me. I am still barely recovering.

I am thinking you will do much better than I...
