Regifting: the act of taking a gift that has been received and giving it to somebody else, sometimes in the guise of a new gift.

I began writing for today's post and realized I'd already said it all--succinctly--in an email to my mom. So I am cutting & pasting my email. I suppose you could say this post makes me a re-gifter. Re-poster? Whatever. I'm tired. Goodnight.

Max, acting as The Bread Boy, sold 2 doz rolls and 1 loaf of bread to my friend Ali for $3 & received a $2 tip. She always tips him a dollar or two. He is ecstatic. Max has saved enough "dough," so to speak, (hahahahahaha) to purchase himself an ipod touch.

Mike just ordered 2 iphones and I am VERY excited!!! I have secretly wanted one for 2 years.

Tonight we will eat
spaghetti & frozen costco meatballs (very delicious) for dinner. And warmed-up rolls.

I informed Mike yesterday that if/when we have to move I plan to paint the kitchen Tiffany Blue (look it up--the color of the Tiffany jewelry box), the cabinets cream, and the rest of the house apple green. I informed him that he has NO SAY in this and it WILL BE SO. Since i have endured 2 years of stress and emotional drain of my chi (google it), I will paint my next place in happy colors which restore my chi.

So there we have it; the summation of my day. I did get my hair cut & colored, a most welcome event. I never realize how drab my hair looks, when I'm overdue for a color, until I get it done. Oh happy day! I'm trailer-trash blonde again!!!

My color palette! Tiffany Blue and Apple Green.
Mike, you can just bite it now. I will prevail. Save the olive green for your office.
And. Mike. I'm going to put a big, sparkly chandelier over the kitchen table, so mmlllehhhh (sound of me childishly sticking my tongue out).

I'm thinking Bold! Bright! In-your-face Cheery! (Claudia, come help me execute it...!)(photo swiped from everythingturquoise)

Reposting is a funny thing, but I'm glad you did it. It would have been a shame not to have this gem for all to see.

Oh man, how fun! I like your trailer trash blonde-ness. I'm the same way with my hair. I never realize how ugggh it is until I do something to it, like dye it or cut it, but your hair looks way cute! And I like the color scheme! Poor Mike. :)

These colors make me happy and I can see why you would want to surround yourself with them!

Re-giftposting is an excellent idea. On my running blog, I have copied and pasted IM conversations several times as posts. Do what works!

I love the colors!! There is nothing better in this world than a white kitchen. NOTHING!!!!!! I don't know why more people don't have white kitchens - seriously. It should be law! Well, maybe not law because then we would get sick of them but all important people (like us) should have white kitchens!!!

Love it!!!! I Think we need bright colors if we are going to live through cold, dark and dreary winters that Utah brings us.
