Mimi's First Day of Dance 2007
Yesterday when she woke up at 8:30am, Mimi sat STRAIGHT up in bed and said, "I need to get ready for dance!" She had her little leotard and tights on before the other kids even left for school, and dance wasn't until 11:30! She spent the morning flitting and twirling about the house. Every once in a while she'd stop in her tracks and blurt, "Oh no! I'm going to be late for dance!" 
She just loves to get all girlied up and go to Miss Wendi's. She assiduously made sure that she'd packed all her shoes--jazz, ballet & tap--and off she went! The best hour of her week. A big hug and THANK YOU to my good friend Wendi for being such a darling teacher.

Aren't you the sweetest. Mimi is a doll. I think I'm the lucky one for getting to have her in my class! That's cute to hear how excited she was before class, because that's how she is during class too-flitting and skipping and thrilled with every minute. What a happy girl.
