Tuesday Tell-All: What's Your Favorite Painting (Thanks, Wendi, for the invite!)
Narrowing it down to just one painter is next to impossible, but 1st place for me is a tie between Monet and Renoir. Their paintings just GLOW.
And my dad recently introduced me to Rothko, whom I wasn't prepared to like. We saw several of his paintings in the National Gallery of Art this summer and his canvases also glow--in a completely different way. There is no way for a print to do justice; the painting is alive with vibrant layers of color.

Thanks for the fun ideas! I love the impressionist era. Mimi was such a cutie today. It's fun to see her developing some real talent! Hope you all had fun at Carl's Jr. Sad I couldn't come!
