Give Me a Rollercoaster Scream!

I am about to embark on a 5 ½ hour drive (which usually turns into 6 ½ hrs) with three kids and a turtle. By myself. No backup. Wish me luck!

Right now I feel like I do when I'm at the top of a rollercoaster; about to scream, cry, barf and wet my pants simultaneously.

Here we go!........ whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I'm with Kay, Benadryl is a BEAUTIFUL thing!! Or dramamine, my kids get car sick & the regular dramamine makes them sleepy. Not as sleepy as Benadryl, but it still works! You'll do great!

Good Luck!

Oh & Karri, I laughed so hard at that part! ..."I'm singling you out!" "Oh & could you sign it where I can see it?" ha ha ha ha!!

KATE said...

Oh & thanks for adding me to your snuffy friends. I'm feeling so LOVED!!

I know! That was possibly one of the best Office moments ever. "Could you sign it where I can see it." HAH! (that's my honk laugh)

Someone please post that from youtube so we can enjoy it over and over.

The oh-so-sad thing is that Meredith is sexier than me! OUCH.

Someday I'll post about how we got Arthur. It's an interesting story - I'll just preface it by saying, since we weren't having kids as fast as we'd hoped, we decided to adopt. (Although I was just beginning to think if we were only having three kids maybe I could trade in my minivan for a convertible! Um yeah, now I drive a suburban and I won't get to have a convertible until my grey hair is blowing in the wind.)

Don't really have anything to add, but saw that you have 23 comments, and I know you love comments, so I wanted to make it 24 for you!

Well I guess I was WAY behind on your posts.... I took a trip this past Aug to ID ... just me and my 6 kids in an extended cab truck. It was a LONG drive! over 800 miles one way took me two days 600 miles the first day to my sister's then the last 200 or so the next day. So much fun driving with kids! :-)

You obviously needed my secret kryptonite juice! And here I was complaining about 3 kids and 365 miles.
