Mike is currently enjoying his turn to take Jack to get his goop suctioned out. They just left. This makes the 3rd time today for goop-sucking at the hospital.
I am taking this opportunity to do a load of laundry. I haven't done a spec of laundry for 5 days...you can only imagine the mountains of laundry around here. There are no words.
Isabelle's after-school job was to load the dishwasher, clear off the kitchen bar and wipe it. It took her 45 minutes. True, she is a world-class dawdler. But still. 45 minutes.
As I held him, Baby has been rubbing his ears against me all day. He also bats at them and pulls at them. Poor little boy, they must hurt so badly. Having rsv isn't hard enough; both his ears are also infected .
As for me, I stole an hour nap tonight from 8-9pm. It was bliss! AN HOUR of sleep, uninterrupted. Jack has been constantly needy--that is no overstatement--and I have hardly had 2 minutes to shove a taco time bean burrito in my mouth. Yes. That is the sum total of my food intake since 9pm last night. Oh wait---my friend Ali brought kneaders soup & bread (blessed girl) around 6:30, and so I did shovel some of that down between baby-cries.
Goodnight.
p.s. I am pasting this email on my blog to suffice as a post. It summarizes my day and i won't have time to string 2 sentences together once baby gets home from the hospital. Excuse me now, while I go speed-fold some laundry.
