Quick Note

I actually found myself SINGING to wake my kids up this morning. I am alarmed. This is the true sign of aging; I've laughed that my grandmother did it ("It's time to get up, it's time to get up, it's time to get up in the mo-o-o-o-o-orning!"), I've laughed that my mother did it ("Everybody up and 1 & 2, everybody up and 1 & 2"), and now I've done it ("In the leafy tree tops the birds sing good morning!")

Oh please somebody help me.

Yes! And don't forget my favorite "Rise and Shout the cougars are out!"

Well my brothers use to sing to each other: Get up get up get out of bed you B O N E H E A (you spell it). Get up get up get out of bed before I fart on your head! Sorry, I couldn't resist! :-P

Oh, my dad used to do that and it drove me nutty, but it is a fond memory for me now. I've never been much for mornings, he used to sing "you are my sunshine" me as a teenager. I was always sure to keep extra pillows around me for amo.
