To be honest, I'm kind of operating in a fog lately. Which I suppose is ok; we have to know our limitations, right? So today isn't actually all that typical for me, but I'm hoping to return to my over-planning, hyperactive list-making soon!
Today I got up to be gymalicious* (upper body) at 5:30am and got back at 7:30. My arms hurt.
Got the kids up at 8:30 to get ready for school.
Took them to school at 9:15.
Went back to school to do the take-home-reading program from 10-12.
Came home to try to nap Mimi from 12:30-1:30. She refused to sleep so we played Barbies.
Picked up mike up from mechanic (car troubles!) at 2pm.
Read ballerina books with Mimi from 2-3pm. She was in the zone.
Dropped Mimi off at Dance at 3pm.
Visited with Wendi from 3-4 while she pretended she wasn't too busy to chat.
Helped with Max & Isabelle's homework from 4:30-5pm.
Ate a gourmet dinner. Ramen.
Had movie night with kids from 6-7:30.
Threw (literally!) my kids in bed at 8pm.
Watched "The Office" & went to bed at 9pm.
zzzzzzzzzzz.........
* I really do love this word, Jill! It should be on Wikipedia.

Craaaazy day! But that's awesome that you took the time to play Barbie's and read books! What an awesome Mom - way more important and memorable than spending an hour making a huge dinner! good for you, I'm proud of you.
Mimi-Ballerina is too cute!
I love your typical day! You're a total stud for getting up & out so early. I keep trying, Brooke has a bit of a cold & isn't sleeping the way I need her to for me to get to the gym. My little sis is here in the morning but needs to be getting ready for school not dealing with stinky newborn. So, I'm not very patiently waiting to get back to the "gymalicious" thing.
I was so sorry I missed you at dance today. Wendi emailed me that you would be there & I should come down & meet you both. Sad day, I didn't see my email til after your class!
Hope to catch you two soon!!
is she as sweet as she looks? oh my gosh she is adorable!!
btw my DH is a mike too!
we ♥ Ramen!
She. Is. So. Cute!
I don't know Crystal, I think I need to reassess my Snuffy friendship with you. You might make me feel inferior or something. My day is not NEARLY so noble.
I'm just kidding. Everyone makes me feel that way. I'm used to my mediocrity by now. I've embraced it.
What a good mommy you are! And I am JEALOUS that you can throw (literally)your kids in bed by 8 pm. How do you do that? Around here we are still rarin' to go at 8...in fact, last night when I was talking to Tami at ten mine were still bargaining and arguing with me! Uggghhh. I stink at this mommy thing sometimes!
Don't you just love when you're trying to have a conversation with Wendi and you know she's busy and only hearing about half what you say but that she still lets you keep talking? She does that with me on the phone all the time. lol Too funny!
She's darling.
I have a couple of those big ramen packs at my house too!
Crystal - I LOVE the pump class. & don't worry I'm uncoordinated, chubby & completely outta shape! So, I can hardly keep up. In fact I had just gotten to where I could do all the exercises when I had to quit last year when I got sick & pregnant.
Anyhow,it's cardio & weights. You use the weights while keeping your heart rate up. It's SO much fun!! You will be sore, even being in shape, they make ya sore. My friend Kristy, who is a stud in that class, used to tell me that her "potty muscles" hurt. Ya know when you're trying to sit down on the potty & your legs & but hurt. ha ha ha.
ANyhow, I would LOVE to go with you! You'll be making fun of me, it's been almost a year since I went regularly. It's Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday a.m.s I used to do the 8 a.m. class, but think I have to switch to the 6 a.m. class now.
Keep your fingers crossed that I'll get Brooke to cooperate! Let's talk...
Busy girl - I can't believe you're up at 5:30! Holy to early Crystal! Too cute outfit with her cute red shoes and I so love that word gymalicious!
WOW what a busy day. Playing barbies sounds fun. We do the cars and super hero's thing over here.
I love that word gymalicious.
Just blog hopping and came upon your blog. It sounds like a typical day for a mother. Life can be so crazy sometimes.
c - world without end.
no need to re-read the first. this one can stand alone. not much reference to the first book in this one. i'm 600 pages in girl!! i got some good read time yesterday!
lovin' it!
What a doll! I love little ballerina's! Way to be on top of things!
No wonder you weren't at pilates, that is one full day. Adorable pictures, Mimi is such a litle girl, I love it!
