Yesterday Wendi & I seemed to be in the same sort of funk, so we moped around together to Bed Bath & Beyond and then to the park to sit on a bench while our kids played. Don't you love friends that you can be boring with?
Later that night Kara came over (a.k.a. "Kara-the-drama-teacher" to my friends who don't know her yet but really must meet her soon) and sat on my couch as a I babbled stream of consciousness about the Jerry Springer show hereabouts. (Really. No kidding. My life right now is a Lifetime tv special. I told someone yesterday--can't remember who--that Meredith Baxter Birney will soon be playing me on tv & they said, "At least get Cheryl Ladd...she's younger & cuter!" hee hee)
Anyway. Kara brought me a Diet Cherry Limeade from Sonic! Such perfect deliciousness! Who even knew these existed? I am now armed to survive another day.

I love being boring too and it's even better to share with a friend. I've never had sonics diet cherry limeades, but my whole family loves them. I love the strawberry limeade!
Sounds like my kind of Visiting Teaching - this summer while the kids were all home my partner and I would tell them we were going visiting teaching, and then sneak in a movie instead! They will probably dread visiting teaching until they find out it really doesn't have to take 3 hours (3 times a month)!!!
